The Bible says in the letter to the Romans, chapter 1
5. Through him - Jesus Christ - and for his name's sake, we received grace and apostleship to call people from among all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith.
6. And you also are among those who are called to belong to Jesus Christ.

Every person born on this earth is being called by God to put their faith in Jesus Christ. For this purpose God chose Paul and made him an apostle to call Gentiles to put their faith in Jesus. It takes much grace to do this kind of assignment, and Paul did this faithfully for the rest of his life.

He says that there is an ability to obey God that comes to us when we put our faith in Jesus. If you are wondering what it means to put your faith in Jesus. It means to rest the whole weight of your person on Him, much the way to rest your body on a comfortable chair when you sit down.

Talk to Him, He is waiting to listen and respond to you. Here are some words you can use.
Pray aloud: that is, loudly enough for you to hear yourself:

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, today I want to put my faith in You.
I am resting the whole weight of my person upon You,
because You are the only One Who can forgive my sins and put me back together again.
Please give me now the grace to obey You
so that Your blessings on my life will not be hindered.
I love You, Lord Jesus.
Thank You for accepting me.
Please make Yourself real to me
and let me know that I am Yours.
